Installation
of the card is not unlike other PCI cards. Simply install
the Firewire IEEE 1394a and USB 2.0 PCI Card Combo into
an available PCI slot in your PC as shown to the right
and secure it. Plug your PC back in and Windows will recognize
the card automatically.
NOTE: Always
follow ESD procedures when installing new hardware in your
PC.

The
Firewire IEEE 1394a and USB 2.0 PCI Card Combo was a synch
to install and use. Once installed Windows recognized it right
away and did not have to install any additional drivers, following
that all I had to do was connect either the USB 2.0 or IEEE
1394 cable to my devices. All devices worked perfectly as they
should with no break down in data transfer or quality. The
software package included (Ulead VideoStudio DV) is an excellent
digital video recording/editing software if your recording
your family movies for transfer to DVD or CD-ROM.
For professional video documentation or family fun
this PCI package is a great package to upgrade your system with which
is why I would recommend it.
