SATA HDD enclosure for use with notebook and desktop systems, and the ST-EKB2 SATA-eSATA

extension cable with bracket for desktop systems. The SATA-PRO-35AXC SATA HDD enclosure converts the

SATA signal to a USB 2.0 or FireWire signal, enabling use of a SATA HDD with any notebook or desktop

system that has a USB 2.0 , FireWire400 or FireWire800 port, but no SATA II (eSATA) port.

The hybrid SATA-PRO-35AXC offers the convenience of multiple data transfer interfaces and additionally

provides an eSATA connector and a shielded external SATA cable for enabling high speed SATA data

transfer between the SATA-PRO-35AXC enclosure and a desktop computer that supports SATA. The SATA-PRO-35AXC

further enhances flexibility with the bundled 6-pin to 9-pin FireWire cable for connecting the SATA-PRO-35AXC

to the FireWire 400 port of any notebook or desktop computer.

For users with internal SATA connector equipped desktop systems the SATA to eSATA ST-EKB2

extension cable offers a simple solution for adding eSATA connectivity. Once the extension cable is

connected to the motherboard the port bracket provides 2 eSATA ports for connecting the SATA-PRO-35AXC
