Set up of the USB LAN was easy, the following steps were taken for operation of the USB 2.0 LAN Dock.
- Insert the Driver CD-ROM into your drive, it will be needed for some of the port installs.
- As suggested in the user manual, the USB LAN Dock was used with the AC adapter included in the package (slide 1, 2, 3) Notice LED indicators.
- Attaching the USB devices was quick as each device was connected, the corresponding "New Hardware" message was displayed ( see screen shots.)
- Connecting the LAN proved an easy task, just plug it in and create your new Local Area Network connection. Again notice the LED indicators as you connect to the different port replicators.
- After connecting the P/S2 mouse, Keyboard, and or Serial device, you may have to reboot your PC. Although during the install, all port replications are recognized, however, the older PS/2 or serial devices themselves are not necessarily plug and play.
