The Firewire 800 PCI Card installed. As seen above not all contacts are within the PCI slot. The testing of this card was done in a 32bit machine. The 1394a/b firewire PCI card performed well even in the 32bit environment in which it was installed. It was used and tested with a 1394 firewire portable hard drive enclosure.
