Testing the usb 5.1 channel audio adapter / sample recording

The Sound Station control panel software supplied looks very similar to the volume control panel in windows, it just has more options. The USB 5.1 channel audio adapter can be use with your own recording software and is not limited to the Sound Station software. In testing I used a headset and microphone unit, this is why you see only two input jacks but the quality is very good, listen to this sample that was recorded using the USB 5.1 channel audio adapter. The sample will use Windows media player for the recorded sample. Shown in this image, the headphone / microphone unit is displayed with the USB 5.1 channel audio adapter. The recording played back through the adapter was a good clear sound such as heard in the recorded sample.

I really like using this usb audio adapter, because of its size and onboard controls for volume it made things a little easy for recording. I was actually surprised at the quality when being tested between several different recording software applications, including the Sound Station Control Panel software it comes with. If you don't have a sound board, digital dictation works well with this device because the sound is played back through the audio adapter itself into your headset or speakers. I also liked the fact that the drivers installed automatically once I connect the adapter to the usb port.

Overall this is a good product to aid in your digital recordings, it's portable, easy to use and has a good clear playback.
