Top notch customer service the product I ordered went on backorder and I was personally contacted by there customer support so see if I wanted to wait or do something different ended up substituting a comparable product and shipped it out ASAP. Great build quality well packed very happy.

Wall mountable. Works with no issues. Cannot say much about its durability, but I had it on for a good half of the year and it was on all the time with no pickups.

Well, I was happy...

Needed something that could be mounted. And have daisy chained two together and works a treat with my 3 external disk drives to my iMac. Well, it did. I had the one attached to the iMac connected to my drives. Yesterday I lost one of the drives. No matter what I did, the Mac would not see it. Rebooted hoping to get it back, and when the system came up, I had lost another drive. I connected the two "missing" drives to the 2nd hub that is daisy chained to the first. My Mac saw them right away. I have a backup going now on my Time Machine external (only one left visible on the primary hub) and when it finishes, I will power cycle the hub and see if the Mac can then see them again. If not, is it logical that I could actually lose ports on a powered usb hub?Will update with what I learn.I had 3 external drives attached to this hub. As well as a 2nd, identical, hub daisy chained. 1 of the drives on the primary went off line. I rebooted my Mac. When it came back up the 2nd of 3 drives was not available. I disconnected and reconnected the same drive in the same hub. No joy. I plugged both drives into the chained hub, and it worked. I reconnected them back to the primary and still no joy. It wasn't until, like the other reviewer said, I powered cycled the hub did the 3 come back on the original hub. I have had this hub since the middle of July and it has been constantly on and connected. It was only today that I had problems. I am outside my return window to Amazon. I will watch the hub and see if it the problem recurs. If so, I will contact the manufacturer. The hub, when it works, is perfect for my needs. When.As with everything YMMV.

You have to cycle the power on the hub, or reboot for external drives to be recognized if you disconnect and reconnect your laptop.
