Windows 11 Supported USB FTDI Serial Adapter

Following a standard that has been used since the early 60's the USA-FTDI-A36 Single Port USB to Serial Adapter is an RS-232 portable COM port and can be used with desktop or laptop. This adapter will function properly once installed even on computers that initially have no serial COM port. This 1 meter (3ft. long) USB to RS-232 serial adapter uses a ZT232E RS232 tranceiver from ZyWyn USA and a High-End FTDI semiconductors FT232RL processor chip with LED indicators for Power, TX and RX activity for functionality.

The Serial Adapter needs no external source of power other than its USB host connection to drive its 300bps to 1Mbps Baud Rate. The USA-FTDI-A36 is compatible with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 specifications and has Built-in statics and electrical surge protection up to 600W.
